1,000 Keys to Hope
JOIN will send a "key to hope" to each individual who makes a contribution of any size as a symbol of the impact of your gift.  JOIN hopes to distribute 1,000 Keys to Hope before the end of 2011, bringing in our 20th anniversary year with a strong community of support.  Thank you for helping us unlock the doors to hope and housing.

Your gift can change a life
JOIN was founded in 1992 with the mission of bridging the gap between the housed and homeless communities. Almost 20 years later, our team of dedicated street outreach workers and housing retention staff have helped over 5,000 men, women, and children leave the uncertainty and danger of the streets for the permanence, safety, and hope of housing.  Every donation to JOIN is turned into critical support for homeless individuals and families - whether it be a bus pass, a birth certificate, utility assistance, a move-in deposit, or first month's rent in a new apartment.  The gift you make today will directly support one household's transition from homelessness to permanent housing.

Northwest Employment Law, LLC's Story

This will be our second year of supporting Housing to Home. JOIN's track record of maintaining housed status after transition is amazing. JOIN's outreach workers engage the whole person, helping to restore dignity and self-confidence, and to build relationships that will last. And JOIN doesn't just help with housing -- JOIN helps connect families to services for all their needs. This is a time of national crisis, with the Oregonian recently reporting that one in five Oregon children lives in poverty (nearly 50% of African American children). Those of us who are fortunate enough to have a job, an income--or even just a roof over our heads--must pull together to help those who do not. Won't you "JOIN" us in working toward this goal?

Our Goal: $2,500
(The approximate cost of transitioning and maintaining one family in housing for one year)
